一、基本情况
夏省祥，男，1962年生，教授，硕士生导师，1987年毕业于苏州大学数学系。主要从事拓扑数据分析和一般拓扑学的研究工作，先后在国内外的《数学年刊》、《数学进展》、《Q. A. in General Topology》、《Mathematica Japonica》、《Czeh. Mathematical Journal》、《Georgian Mathematical Journal》、《J. Nonlinear Science Appl》、《Topological Methods in Nonlinear Analysis》等杂志上发表论文三十余篇。解决、提出公开问题十余个，受到国内外专家、学者的关注。在英国研修期间，应牛津大学P.J.Collins教授的邀请，于1994年1月在英国牛津大学做学术演讲。应邀在2005年一般拓扑学国际学术会议上做论文报告。在2016年”Communication, Image and Signal Processing”国际会议上做论文展示。主持国家自然科学基金面上项目一项，参与国家自然科学基金面上项目一项、山东省高校科技计划一项。指导大学生参加国际大学生数学建模竞赛、全国大学生数学建模竞赛，获国际一等奖、国家二等奖、山东赛区一、二等奖等多项，2010年获山东省数学建模优秀辅导教师。
